About Our Trainers: 

Fit 4 You trainers are degreed in the health and fitness field and / or nationally certified as Personal Trainers.

Each trainer possesses their own specialty area within the field, but as a whole, Fit 4 You trainers are trained in program design and will build an individualized fitness program for each client that will fit his/hers specific needs. See our Trainer bios below.
 

Vicki Amon
An impressive career in the fitness industry led Vicki Amon to create Fit 4 You, Inc. Based on 4 basic principles, her quality fitness program delivers professional exercise guidance that is individualized, effective, safe and fun. Her results oriented team of outstanding personal trainers are specifically trained in careful, creative program design with an emphasis on customer needs.

Vicki herself brings over 10 years of industry experience including over six years at the Abington Fitness & Country Club as the Director of Fitness and Personal Training and Fitness Manager at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Cherry Hill, N.J. Years of experience and education have proven her a leader and conscientious trainer. Degreed in Adult Health and Fitness with a minor in Biology, she has had the opportunity to work with all populations from beginners to the elite, including those with severe limitations.

In addition to personal training, she has taught group classes in Spinning, Body Pump, yoga, stretching, Urban Rebounding, abdominal training and toning. Vicki has also created numerous specialty clinics, organized multiple charity events and 5k races and participated in several athletic events including team sports, marathons and half ironman triathlons. She has coached many to reach their own personal goals and she strives to ensure that each Fit 4 You trainer allows their clients to feel comfortable with their own, individualized workout while achieving great results!

CAROL CAPONE
 
Now the Director or Personal Training, Carol Capone joined the Fit 4 You Personal Training Team in 2002 as an experienced fitness professional. With a 19-year history in group exercise instruction, Carol brings both knowledge and instructional expertise to her personal training programs. A group fitness instructor here at Twining Valley, her instructional background includes certifications in aerobics, strength training, step and slide training, body toning and stretching. From 1994-98 Carol co-owned and managed an exercise studio whose philosophy, “fitness with a personal touch”, mirrors her goals for personal training. While at that studio, Carol assisted in the development of a one-on-one member program that offered personalized fitness assessments, and individualized exercise program recommendations. Her instructional experience has an extensive age and fitness level range. She has trained girl scouts towards their fitness badge, a high school swim team towards their strength training needs, and senior citizens towards a better quality of life through exercise. As a certified Personal Trainer, Carol’s main goals are to educate her clients on the importance of long term wellness through a personal exercise program and a healthy lifestyle, and to help each client achieve success with their own personal fitness goals.

In addition to her fitness background, Carol holds a Masters Degree in Science Education. She spent 11 years in the classroom teaching earth, physical, and life science to students in grades 4 through 8. The combination of science and education has had a positive impact on her ability to communicate the science of exercise to her fitness clients. It is with great enthusiasm that Carol looks forward to assisting you in both setting and achieving personal fitness goals that will promote your healthier lifestyle!

Jo Scattergood

Before embarking on her personal training career, Jo spent 6 years teaching biology, chemistry, and physics in West Valley, New York and at Abington Junior High School. While teaching, she coached soccer, track and basketball and spent summers running soccer camps. Jo’s passion for fitness and teaching lead her into the fitness world were she became an ACE certified Personal trainer. When designing her training programs, Jo continues to educate her clients on whole body fitness combining a variety of cardiovascular, resistance training, and flexibility exercises. She blends her teaching, coaching and athletic background into a unique training experience that is interactive and fun. She helps each individual client feel comfortable and able to meet their fitness goals. She believes that dedication on her part and her client’s will only result in success! having a baby just a few months ago, Jo is experienced in the importance of pre and postnatal fitness. Familiar with many alternative exercises that women can benefit from during pregnancy, as well as those that should be avoided, she is able to assist pre/postnatal women in their fitness journey throughout this exciting time. Skilled in sports conditioning, Jo's vast athletic experience also includes 2 years as an All-Conference soccer player at Division I, St. Bonaventure University, running several marathons as a Boston qualifier as well as placing as a top finisher in Olympic distance triathlons. Whether you are looking to get fit and healthy or compete in athletics, Jo is the coach and trainer that can help you get there!

RACHEL DUBIN

Rachel Dubin joins the Fit 4 You personal training team committed to helping her clients reach their personal fitness goals. A desire to work one-on-one with others as they make healthy lifestyle changes was a driving force behind Rachel’s career change to personal training. In addition to Fit 4 You, she is currently working as a personal trainer at both the YMCA and in private homes. She trains a wide population range including older, active adults, moms, and clients with physical and mental challenges.

Rachel’s fitness philosophy mirrors her personal ability to be a good listener. She is skilled in tailoring workouts to the needs of the clients and enjoys the flexibility of altering programs as needed to keep her clients engaged in their workouts on a daily basis. An avid exerciser herself, one of Rachel’s primary goals is to foster greater interest in exercise among children. Future programming with kid’s workouts is a long term goal that Rachel hopes to achieve.

Rachel spent 13 years in public and private accounting prior to embarking on her personal training career. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Temple University. As a fitness trainer with Fit 4 You, Rachel enthusiastically offers flexible programming that will reflect your needs and goals! She looks forward to assisting you with your training needs!

CONNIE TOLTON

Connie Tolton has been motivating individuals to achieve their health and fitness goals for over 6 years. As an ACE certified Personal Trainer at the Ambler YMCA, LA Fitness and a Manager for a 30 Minute Workout gym, Connie has worked with beginner to advanced exercisers. Instilling focus, motivation and passion for incorporating exercise in a stress free manner is her overall goal. She has worked with adolescents and adults to keep them focused while continuing to make progress and she often incorporates gradual lifestyle changes that makes accomplishing major long term success fun and exciting. Her calm approach to gaining knowledge helps clients feel comfortable while learning and understanding the fundamentals.

Specializing in Golf Conditioning, Connie works with golfers of all levels to improve their physical condition. Her focus on increasing flexibility, balance and strength allows golfers to swing more consistently, move through a greater range of motion and reduce the chance of injury.

Connie’s previous experiences include 17 years with PECO Energy. As a programmer/analyst she trained users on new accounting systems and provided technical supported for the Help Desk. Her corporate training background along with her relaxed style makes Connie easy to approach. Feel free to ask her your questions on any area of health and fitness!

JEFFREY BROUS

Jeffrey’s story is a true inspiration to many! A passion for cooking along with a sedentary lifestyle had lead Jeffrey to weigh in at almost 388 lbs. by the age of 16. Realizing his predicament, he proactively worked to lose the weight. Transforming his lifestyle through healthy eating and exercise, he accomplished an amazing 200 lb. weight loss.

Jeffrey graduated from Johnson and Wales University’s ADA accredited nutrition program; one of the most interactive and comprehensive programs available in America today. The program combined the science and technology of nutrition with the best of the culinary arts, yielding a practical approach to nutrition. Jeffrey went on to complete his AAS from the university and taught several kids cooking classes designed to teach the importance of healthy foods and the food guide pyramid. Interested in sharing his passion for fitness, he obtained his certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in group fitness and Personal Training.

Here in Pennsylvania, Jeffrey is now employed by Nutrisystem as a Research and Development Associate where he plays a valuable role in the creation of science based weight loss programs. Working with Fit 4 You an other local fitness facilities as a trainer and instructor, Jeffrey has since added additional certifications in advanced personal training, pilates, and step aerobics.

An impressive educational background in nutrition and fitness has made Jeffrey an educated, well rounded trainer. He continues to strive for a healthy lifestyle as well as helping other to do so. His personal training programs are informative, motivating, versatile and fun!
